Statement of Intent
Keystone Healthcare Group recognises its responsibilities under the:
- National Framework for Medical Locums and GP locums (October 2002);
- Department of Health Guidance for the "Health Clearance for Serious Communicable: New Health Care Workers"
- Health and Saftey At Work ect Act 1974; and
- Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002
As such, Keystone Healthcare Group will ensure that competent Occupational Health professionals assess all healthcare professionals, supplies for work, against the appropriate fitness for work standards.
Keystone Healthcare Group will contract out the Occupational Health services to Peritus Health Management who will ensure that Keystone Healthcare Group Occupational Health Standards are implemeted and reviewed in the light of any new guidance.
